How to Wear Jeans and Jewelry Collection

Recently, I posed a question to our exclusiveStyling Society group on Facebook:

“Who wears jeans/denim?” and the answer was a resounding “I do!”

Within hours of posting the question, it had well over 100 answers.

With so many women telling me that they wear jeans every day, I knew I had to do a collection of jewelry to wear with denim.

This week’s style guide will show you how easy it is to wear vintage jewelry with your favorite denim from skirts, to jackets in every wash and style.

It’s kinda fun because jeans are almost like a canvas for many of us. Because we wear them so much and many other people wear them too...when we get to add jewelry and accessories to our look, it’s a way to put your mark on this wardrobe staple and truly set yourself apart from rest!

Jean jackets are so fun, and they are practical, too. Many wear them as the finishing touch to their look, and many love them for their functionality— keeping you warm and dry. A popular question we get is how to wear a brooch, and jean jackets are perfect for “brooching.” The thicker fabric holds them in place, and you can easily pick a brooch to fit your personality: sparkly, boho, classic, eclectic...I promise there is a brooch for everyone to suit every style!

Who says you can’t dress up! Fashion legend Karl Lagerfeld once said:“You can be the chicest thing in the world in a T-shirt andjeans — it's up to you.”

Denim absolutely can be elegant. It’s all about what you put with it and how you carry yourself! Remember, great style is not what you wear but how you wear it.

I love this simple look of classic wash denim with a simple black blouse and heels. Not only is it easy to wear, but it can also easily achieve an elegant look. I suggest you pair it with high-end pieces like Chanel and Dior, and use this look to mix high and low with both vintage and modern.

When we think about denim and vintage, I think the tendency is to gravitate towards those classic dark blue Levi’s Jeans, but denim comes in so many different colors and washes now. If you love soft pastel vintage jewelry, you have so many options to wear it with your favorite whites and light blues. With spring right around the corner, many are gravitating towards the light and bright! So this collection is more than just bright blues, whites and blacks. You will see many pieces in the pastel family and with floral motifs, too. All perfect to accent your favorite white and light wash jeans!

Don't forget... everything goes with white.

Most women I work with have similar pieces hanging in their closets and in their drawers are T-shirts and jeans. Regardless of their color, cut or waist, most women have a few pairs of jeans and an array of tees and many even say it’s their ‘go-to look’.
