February 2: Super Lovely Baubles

Love is in the air, and Super Lovely Baubles are here for the month of L-O-V-E!

On Sunday, Feb. 2, we launched our first collection of the month, and it was pretty fabulous because it was inspired by Valentine’s Day.

My favorite memories of February include little love notes from my family, including my grandmother & mom, and the fun I have making valentines with our children. Little heart cookies with red jelly centers, lacy white heart doilies, pastel pinks, and hearts galore!

Since so many of us collect vintage jewelry because it reminds us of someone special, that is what this week's collection is all about. It's dedicated to you and all of the special people from our past, too.

If you follow me on social media, I also take a lot of inspiration from the world around me. I really loveVictoria Magazine because of all the vintage inspiration. One of their recentInstagram posts was captioned:

"Lush florals and gilded flourishes draw our eye to this melangé of treasured china. What collectibles add beauty to your surroundings?"

And of course, my answer was vintage jewelry! So this week’s collection looks like that gorgeous image.It will give you all feels, it’s pretty and practical, romantic and memorable— all the things we love about Vintage Meet Modern and all the things we love about you!

And then there is the practical side of me. You need to wear this collection, so I was doing some online window shopping. I have seen lots of elegant fabrics, colors, and textures, and the pieces we have this week will be the crown jewel to your look.  

You are a special person and by wearing these pieces someday, you are not only honoring the past, but you are also sharing your sparkle at the moment and inspiring someone else in the future.
