What do these famous fashion icons all wear that you can too? They love to rock stacks of bangle bracelets!

Our spotlight on bracelets continues, and today we are focusing on how to wear them. One of the best part about bracelets is that this particular type of jewelry “plays well together.”

Bangle bracelets long to be layered and stacked. Creating a unique stack of bracelets is more than arm candy, it’s a style statement. Stacking bracelets is actually not a trend, it’s a tradition that dates back thousands of years. You heard me, stacking bracelets was actually a tradition before it was fashion statement! The bangle bracelet dates back to as early as 2600 BC!

We love bangles year round, but especially in summer. They are an effortless way to add distinction to your look when wearing short sleeves, tanks, and dresses.

These fun bright colored bangles add a pop of color and bit of nostalgia with a nod to neon popular during the 1980s. They have a playful feel perfect to wear with a white tee and jeans or with a sundress. It’s fun because these pieces can be mixed and matched over and over again. If you love the look of patterns but don’t want to go over the top, pairing a print with a solid color is always a good idea. Love to really get the conversation started? Don’t be afraid to pair a bold, fun statement ring with your bracelets. Because bracelets love rings, and rings love to paired with bracelets!

But don’t count these beauties out when cooler weather is in the air. Chanel, Diane Keaton, Iris Apfel all know wearing bracelets over your sleeves is actually very chic.

I think another important point to note is that there are so many different styles of bangles: preppy, boho, glam, simple, thin, thick, carved, bakelite, lucite, thermoplastic, it's almost endless.  Together they make a great eclectic mix but each wearer brings the style to life.
